Ben and Bailey

Ben had his friend Bailey over for a lunch date, recently. They played, the dined, fun was had by all. Here they are enjoying a delicious PBJ meal a deux. We hope to someday be inlaws=) Bailey's mama, April, is one of my besties from beauty school and she and Ben are a mere 6 weeks apart! Bailey is older and a little more mature. Hopefully she'll whip him into shape. Or, wait? Is that my job?

Fun In The Tub

Ben and Milly love to play in the tub together! We don't let them very often because Ben tries to "help" us clean Emily and she's not fond of having cup after cup of water poured in her face. Dan is in there with them, but don't worry! He's wearing swim-trunks so you won't accidentally see something you'd wish you hadn't;)

Emily has moved on from baby food(blech) to table foods(yum!). She loves to be able to feed herself. Her favorite foods so far have been pasta, chicken, cheese and veggies.

Big Boy Beds And Table Food

We're having issues with our computer/camera again, so there will be no new pictures until we get it figured out. I don't know how I got it to work last week?! Everything I've tried hasn't worked this time around. Anyway, here's the news that's fit to "print"!



Ben learned how to climb out of his crib this week, so we had to rethink our plan to keep him in his crib until he went off to college. Luckily, his crib turns into a toddler bed, so we just got a bed-rail to stick on the side. He LOVES his new big-boy bed! I think his favorite part is that he can get in and out as he pleases. After we put him to bed, we check on him and every time, we've come in to find him fast asleep, surrounded by toys that he got up and brought to bed with him! It's so cute=) So far, we haven't had an issues with him wanting to come out of his room after we've put him down for the night! Knock on wood!


Our little gourmand, Emily has decided she wants little to do with jarred baby foods. Oh, no, not for her! She has moved on to table foods and is currently enjoying a wide variety of bite-sized fare. Her favorites are chicken, flour tortilla, bananas, pasta and cheese. I can't believe how big she's getting! I will post pictures of both the bed and the little diner when I can!

UPDATE:
Ben learned how to open his bedroom door and decided that 4:30 AM was a great time to get up and play! I knew I was tempting fate by saying he doesn't get out of bed before he's supposed to=( Also, I was able to upload our pictures via our memory card! Yay! No more technical difficulties regarding our camera! I'll post pictures later today!
