God Bless The Jumperoo

Thank-you, God, for the Jumperoo. It is noisy, bulky and takes up so much space but it keeps my babies entertained long enough for me to do many unnecessary, but vital things.

She speaks!

Emily has been quite the little blabber-mouth lately! She's begun to babble and it's just too cute. One word she definitely says with feeling is Mama. Guess we know who she likes best! Here's a video of our little Grumblina talkin the the talk.

Gobble, Gobble

Ben really loved Thanksgiving Dinner! He tried some of everything and ate more than I've ever seen him consume in one sitting. He especially enjoyed his "punkn cakey" or pumpkin-pie as you and I would call it=) Hope your Thanksgiving was as happy as ours!

There's A Party In Her Tummy--So Yummy!

Emily has started solids! She loves to eat so far and is a baby of descerning tastes.

To celebrate Emily turning the big .5, we threw a little party for her very best friends. We enjoyed cake, refreshments and playtime. Wish you could have joined us!

Emily Is 6 Months old!

I can't believe how fast the last 6 months have past me by. I feel like I went to bed last night with this tiny, beautiful little newborn and woke up with the this huge, sweet baby! Every day of the last six months has been such a blast for us. Watching her grow and become such an important part of our family is one of the greatest gifts of my life. I can't believe how lucky I am to have the two best babies and the most wonderful husband. It doesn't seem fair to the rest of you! Ben has completely blown us away by what a great brother he is. He really loves his baby sister and it's been so fun to watch them discover each other. No one makes Emily laugh like Ben does and it's been amazing to see how sweet and gentle Ben can be towards his little sister. I'm so looking forward to watching them grow up together. If this first six months is any indication of how wonderful it will be, I can't wait for whatever comes next!

In the last 6 months Emily has done the following:

• Been Born
• Learned to successfully breastfeed
• Learned to hold her head up
• Learned to sit up with support
• Learned to roll both front-to-back and back-to-front
• Learned to use her amazing rolling abilities to get around
• Smiled, coo'd, laughed and started to babble
• Started eating solid foods
• Started drinking from a sippy
  
• Stolen our hearts(awwwww!)

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am the Co-creator, producer, director, and manager of The Benmily Show! Benjamin and Emily G. are the stars and this blog is all about them. Co-star Ben showed up on the scene September 20, 2005. For 20 months, he was the sole star of our little production. On May 14, 2007 we added a new member to the cast. Emily Patricia has been stealing the spotlight ever since! As their mother/manager, I have the scoop on their daily lives.
