Future Brothers and Sisters

Sweet Jesus, Ben and Emily owe somebody up there a big "Muchos Gracias" for not letting them look like the trolls...er...children pictured below. Those are what future offspring of ours could look like! Guess we better quit while we're ahead;) P.S. If anyone of you say they actually look like my beautiful children I will kill you. I mean it!

Wee-Wah Turns One!!!

Hazel had her first birthday today! We spent the afternoon celebrating with her and all her family and friends. We enjoyed some delicious food(well, mostly ice-cubes), beverages and birthday cake and had fun playing outside. We had Hazel's portrait taken for her birthday present and gave it to her at the party. Everyone loved it!

The Birthday Girl

Who needs ponies or clowns to entertain when you have buckets full of ice?!

Emily and Hazel contemplated getting the party started Sorority-Girl style.

Emily couldn't decide between a Corona or a Mike's Hard Lemonade.

Four Years Of Wedded Bliss

Or four years of marriage, anyway;) We, the co-creators of the Benmily Show and it's stars celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary! I can't believe in such a short time we were able to produce two such perfect and beautiful children=) I don't think we'll be adding to the cast any time in the near future, so I guess it's a good thing Ben and Emily are such scene-stealers! Here are some pictures from our wedding. Some day when we're old and gray, we'll look back at these(hopefully together!) and laugh at how young we are!

At Least She Still Wants Me Around!

Ben might tell me to "Go Away" but my best girl ALWAYS wants me around. Milly is the definitive "Mama's Girl" and I love it=) She is my precious little monkey and I can't believe how lucky I am to be her mommy!

Mommy & Ben

Ben and I enjoyed some time alone today at the park. I loved every minute but I think Ben is used to having a little more freedom when we go to the park. Usually I am trying to wrangle Emily to keep her close to wherever Ben is playing. Today he had my full attention and told me many times to "Go away, mommy":( So much for our special park-date!

Uncle Ron-Monster

Ben has been watching Monsters Inc. a lot lately and thinks the monster above looks just like his Uncle Ron. Now that he mentions it, I CAN see the resemblance. It's hilarious how toddlers' minds work=)

Pump It Up!

Ben and I went to Pump It Up(or "The FUNNEST Place on Earth, as I will now call it!) to meet some new friends today. Emily stayed home with daddy to have a nap and some quality Daddy-Emmie time. Cooper, Charlotte and they're awesome mama, Maggie are new to our area and we decided to get together for a play-date and a chance to get to know each other. We has SO much fun. Ben and Cooper loved jumping on the inflatables, running around, playing with the car and one another. Baby Charlotte was far to little to partake in the festivities, so we spent some quality playing together. She is SUCH a sweetie! So smiley and squishy and fun to hold=) I really enjoyed meeting Maggie and her kids and hope to have more play-dates in the future!

Both Ben and Cooper loved
running around this bounce-track!

Ben also loved scaling this bouncy
flower-thingy in the center of the track.

Maggie and Little Miss Charlotte

Here's Cooper! He was so cute and funny.
Ben talked about him the whole way home=)

Of course Ben was drawn to the one toy
we already have at home.
With ALL the awesomeness around us,
they still prefered the toy car=)

Cooper loved pushing Ben around. They went so fast
and both laughed whenever they'd crash into something=)
It gave the mommy's a fright, but the boys enjoyed it!
Must be a testosterone thing!
