The N-O Word

Ben's language skills have been blossoming lately! It's great because he gets less frustrated when he's able to communicate his wants and needs. He still has meltdowns, but he's getting better! While walking to the car last night, he started running into the street. I yelled out, "Ben! STOP!", which he did. He hates to be reprimanded, though, so he started to get upset. He noticably held back, though, and sat down on a step instead. He looked up at me and said, "I mad, mommy. You scared me." I told him I yelled to keep him from running in the street. He said OK and that was that! It was just a little breakdown in communication;) Here is a funny picture of him NOT responding well to being told N-O.
